Whitsunday Jet Ski Tours a double winner!!!
The Whitsunday Jet Ski Tours team walked away with a double win at the Whitsunday Tourism and Business Awards on Saturday night, winning the Tour and/or Transport Operator Award, as well as the Adventure Tourism award.
Owners Steve and Toni Ward enjoyed their success on the night with their staff, acknowledging the team for their ongoing commitment and contribution to the development of the business.
“We are very passionate about the business and are very lucky to have a great team who feel the same way, ensuring guests always leave with a huge smile on their face after such an exhilarating and personalised adventure. We are also extremely appreciative of the support we receive from local agents and accommodation houses, as well as the Whitsunday community,” said Steve.
Whitsunday Jet Ski Tours commenced operating guided jet ski adventure tours five years ago and has seen significant growth each year. Steve and Toni are hands on within all aspects of the business, working closely with their staff and listening to feedback in order to continually streamline and enhance operations.
“This year we introduced a brand new tour, as well as an additional afternoon tour, resulting in a substantial growth in daily passenger numbers. To keep operations running as smoothly as possible we regularly turn over our equipment and in the past year we have also recruited more staff and implemented a series of targeted marketing activities, so it has been a really busy period,” said Steve.
Whitsunday Jet Ski Tours has also entered the upcoming Queensland Tourism Awards in the same two categories and the team are looking forward to representing the Whitsundays on a state level.
Whitsunday Jet Ski Tours operates three jet ski tours daily; the Airlie Adventure, a soft adventure tour around Pioneer Bay, the Two Island Safari which explores South Molle and Daydream Islands, and the Daydream Extreme, offering the thrill of open water jet skiing to award-winning Daydream Island Resort and Spa, including a range of activities such as the popular Living Reef Experience.
